The Ritz Carlton Golf Club, Orlando FL - March 2

Rating - 0.1

NOT WORTH THE MONEY - No way, NO how, NO NO NO!!!

We took a customer out to play golf on this horrible cold and windy day. Even if the sun was shining this course is just a waste of $$$$.

Great service in the pro shop and restaurant, but the course is mediocre at best....there are literally 50 better courses in the Orlando area. The only positive about it is the location to the Marriott Grand Lakes - its a two minute walk.

Why does it suck? Condition, the maintenance is not that good, tees were marginal and not well defined/mowed, greens were worse. Fairways were nothing special and pretty beat-up, and the traps had not been rakes (maybe ever). In addition it was cart path only, and this is a horrible course for that rule.

I didn't think the layout was good or imaginative. I have played many munis that were more fun.

And EXPENSIVE. We played after 2 for the "twilight" rate, and with rental clubs (these were nice - I played last year's Taylor made irons and you get 3 sleeves of balls) it was $500 for three of us.

WAY TO OVERPRICED!!!! Especially when you consider the crappy condition it was in.

NEVER AGAIN.

Total - 3 golfers, 3 rental sets = $497.36
