Billy Elliot, Chicago IL - March 25

Rating - 1.1 (for the men), 10.0 for the ladies

I HATED it, Hot Momma LOVED it.

Our seats, Row A, Seat 242, "Directors Circle", were kind of brutal....first row in the balcony (no leg room) and in a strange spot because you could not see all of the theater. The Ford Theater itself if BEAUTIFUL, awesome entry way and very charming once you get in. Yes, they sell beer and wine, and if you get to the bathrooms quickly at intermission (only good thing about our seats) there are no lines. If you don't, be prepared to WAIT. It gets pretty crowded on the second level with the bathroom line and people moving toward the concession stand.

Ok, the play/musical itself. I was disappointed....thought with Elton John's involvement the music would be much better, and I didn't care for the story line of strike plagued England and a dancer....all I could think was what was a 12 year old boy doing up so late on a Friday night.

Hot Mamma on the other hand LOVED IT.

Men stay at home and let the wives go!

Total - $98.00 per ticket
