HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great spot if your idea of "fun" is 1 1/2 hours from first sitting to finally being served an entree..........the family headed over at 6:30 on a Saturday night (we had reservations), and were seated right away in the room on the left (by the fire place).

It took a while for the waitress to come over, and longer to get our drinks once we were seated. Beer selection SUCKS - limited to micro brews and didn't have what I liked/wanted. Then things REALLY SLOWED DOWN (kind of hard to believe it could be any worse - but it got A LOT WORSE). It took at least 30 minutes to get our simple apps - crab cakes (LOVED THEM), and the cheese plate (Cheddar was EXCELLENT, as was the swiss kind)......but it took 30 minutes to get to the table!!!

I don't know if it was our waitress (Joan) fault, or just horrible management, but it was awful. That was short compared to wait for our main course. The kids were good but very hungry, and even getting a drink refill was an awful experience. I just don't get it because there were only 8 tables in our room, and they offered the table next to us a free desert because the wait was so long.

When the food finally arrived it was great. I had the salmon, and the portion was large and good, hot mamma had the scallops which she really enjoyed, and kids liked the pasta and chicken fingers (grilled cheese was cold and horrible). We finished with ice cream for the kids (good) and a chocolate martini for Hot Mamma (Loved it).

Food is really good, but the SERVICE is BRUTAL. It was interesting because the bar was crowded, tables full, and people were waiting for tables, but the side we were on had open tables all night.

NO WAY I WOULD RETURN!!!!!!!!!!!
