Zig Zag Cafe, Seattle - August 21

Rating - 9.00

Our waiter from the Met recommended this place for a cocktail as we walked back to our hotel. It is on main stairway from 2nd street back up the hill, located right next to a Mexican restaurant....it would be easy to miss.

We arrived around 9 pm and were immediately seated at a cool table for two. It is hard for me to describe the place, unlike other places I would usually go, but I really liked it. There is just a "cool" feel to the place and everyone was having a good time. There is a small bar that was crowded, and a few stand-up tables that were also crowded, and most of the other tables were filled. However, they turned over fairly quickly and no one had to wait to be seated. There was also some seating outside, with one table open, but it was cooling down too quick for us to sit there.

There is a large cocktail menu, and there were a lot of food choices also. I had a marg and it was ok, Katie had a martini that she liked. After one drink we were out due to the time change, but I would return for sure.
