This is the "old Riva" at the Calamos building, Route 59 and I88. They are going to begin remodeling the day after Labor Day and are building a wrap-around deck.

I was glad to see our friendly bar tender Neil is still there, he is great and makes everyone feel comfortable, friendly with out being overbearing. He also introduced us to Jennifer who is also going to bar tend - she was also very friendly. Got to watch the Sox game and enjoy a few cocktails.

The place was empty for a Saturday night at 8 pm, and Neil said they were only open for the "regulars". I don't think there was more than one table in the dining room, and there were only the two of us at the bar most of the time.

They did add a great server in Pablo, who was a favorite from Capri.

Great service, laid back atmosphere, and people who make you feel wanted = a good spot for a few cocktails!!!!!
