Eamonn's Bar and Grill, New York Midtown - August 12

Rating 10.00

So we were walking down the street just after noon and trying to find a place to have lunch.....saw a sign that said "Irish Bar" and we headed right for it.......

Incredibly surprised when we opened the door......the interior is SPECTACULAR. Bright, clean, modern with all the tables set with crisp white table cloths and folded napkins. We sat at table 43.

Friendly hostess took promptly upstairs and seated us at a table for two. Our server was Caoimhe, and she was friendly, made good recommendations, and was quick with a drinks/refills/checking on us.

Food is EXCELLENT!!!!!!! After we ordered, they brought a bread basket with 4 rolls inside, I had the sourdough and it was superb.

Entrees: Sean had the Onion Soup (which he loved), while I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich terrayki style --- it was so good, and so filling that I am still full. A bit on the pricey side, but I would have it again for dinner tonight!

The menu had great specials for bar food starting at 3 pm, and I must return sometime for a beer.

It was crowded, but not packed, easy for conversation and had a great vibe.

EAT HERE!!
