Metropolitan Grille, Seattle - August 20

Rating - 9.84

We arrived after and appointment for a late lunch at 2 pm. We asked to be seated in the bar area. There were a couple of people at the bar and maybe 2 other tables. This is definitely an "old school" financial district bar. There is a board on the wall that lists guesses for where the DOW will finish the year........

Diane was our waitress and her service was excellent. She assured us we could eat and be out by 2:45 for our next appointment. I had the chicken noodle soup (it was outstanding!!!) and the 1/2 prime rib sandwich (it was even better....I couldn't put it down and just devoured it). Paul had the salmon special and it was excellent also.

Best of all we got a tip on a great golf course from a guy who sitting at the table next to us. If you want a fabulous lunch that is very reasonable this is the place. I have to eat dinner here sometime.........
