The Fishermans Restaurant and Bar, Seattle - August 22

Rating - 8.0

We headed down by the water for lunch on a lovely Saturday morning. We arrived around noon with a party of four and were seated right away on the patio overlooking the Sound. It was very nice and the patio is huge and crowded.

Service was slow, although it was very crowded. Refills on drinks took a while, as did delivery of the food.

We had the steamers as an app, and the New Englanders thought they were a bit strange and small (I don't eat them). They did have some excellent sour dough bread, and that was a good thing since it took so long to get our lunch.

I had the halibut and chips and it was good, not great but solid. Katie had the fish tacos and she loved them although they were spicy.

A nice way to spend a sunny afternoon. I would not return for the food, but the view is great.
